Duffy Assembly

On Monday we were lucky enough to have a Duffy assembly show.  The show gave us a chance to learn about Climate Change, and how we can make a difference in the world. It also gave the students a chance to understand that reading is very important and that it is ok to ask for help with their reading.  Here are some photos of the Duffy show!!! 

 

Butterflies in Room 10

MONARCH BUTTERFLY

In room 10 we are currently learning about the Life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly. We have been lucky enough to see the life cycle happen before our eyes. The students have been very excited about seeing the progress happen, and are always checking on the caterpillars and how they are getting on. Here are some photos and videos of our caterpillars getting bigger and some turning into chrysalis.

Room 10 learnt about the importance of drinking milk and how good it can be for growing bodies. 

We are lucky to get Fonterra Milk at Park Estate School for all our students.
